Who this covers

BinCall is a software service that scrap metal recyclers use to take container service requests from their customers, schedule trucks and keep track of equipment. This policy covers two things: this website, and the BinCall service itself.

This website

When you send the demo request form we receive what you type into it: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give one, and anything you tell us about your operation. We use it to reply to you about BinCall. We do not sell it and we do not use it for anyone else's marketing.

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Our servers keep ordinary access logs, which include IP addresses and browser types.

The BinCall service

A recycler that subscribes to BinCall puts its own business records into the service: its customers and their sites, container records, and the names, mobile numbers and email addresses of the people it invites. Those people then create more records by using the service: requests, notes, weights and the status of each job.

We hold and process that information on the recycler's behalf, to run the service for them. The recycler decides who is invited and what they can see. If you were invited by a recycler and have a question about your information, ask that recycler first. We will help them answer it.

Text messages

The service sends text messages on behalf of recyclers to the people they have invited: sign-in codes, request receipts, schedule notices and driver arrival updates. You receive them because you gave your mobile number to the recycler for this purpose and accepted their invitation.

  • Message frequency varies with how often you request service.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
  • We do not sell mobile numbers, and we do not share them with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share information with

We use service providers to host the service and to deliver email and text messages. They receive only what they need to do that work. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Demo requests are kept for as long as we are in contact with you about BinCall, and deleted when you ask. A recycler's records are kept for the life of its subscription. After a subscription ends they are deleted on the schedule in that recycler's agreement.

Security

How the service protects information is described on the Security and data page.

Your choices

You can ask us what demo request information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. This website and the service are meant for businesses and are not directed to children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new date. To reach us about privacy, send the request form and say that your message is about privacy.
